Malaga Rail Station

If you decide to arrive by train to the city of Malaga, you can now rent a car at the Renfe Terminal Station.
The train station is a good place to begin exploring this beautiful city. If you have any business or affairs to attend in Madrid, it is convenient to stay near the station, since the post-modern trains leaving Malaga can reach Spain's Capital City in less than three hours.

Practical information

It also is the Junta de Andalucía´s goal to interconnect the whole community by 2013. Moreover, from Malaga-Maria Zambrano Station leave several lines of long-distance buses to other cities in Andalusia, the sunny Mediterranean coast and the North of Spain. Just from the same Terminal Station one can access the nearby tourist cities, with the lines C1 (Malaga-Fuengirola) and C2 (Malaga-Álora).
Still in construction works, the so-called Ferrocarril de la Costa del Sol, will link Algeciras with the town of Nerja, joining cities isoleted so far, as Marbella, Mijas, Estepona and Rincón de la Victoria.
Must be mentioned, that Renfe Malaga is a privileged location within the city, which serves as a reference for all tourists.
