Malaga Central

Malaga, one of the oldest cities of Spain, was founded by the Phoenicians at the seventh century BC. Afterwars it was a confederated city of the thriving Roman Empire and centuries later, a famous Muslim and Andalusí city. Being repeatedly Capital City, it began its decline in the late fifteenth century with the expulsion of the Moors from Spain. It was during the nineteenth century when it grew up due to its industry, instilling as well a revolutionary and libertarian spirit. It witnessed one of the most bloody years of the Civil War and decades later enjoyed the tourist boom that attracted so many people between the 60´s and 70´s. It is a cosmopolitan and international city, too, due to its excellent location, a central link because of its wonderful harbor and its international Airport.

GETTING TO THE AIRPORT

Road
You can get to Malaga Airport from the city of Malaga and all the towns in the Costa del Sol via the E-15 motorway and National route N-340.

Buses

The route is from Marbella Bus Station (Avenida del Trapiche s / n) - Airport.
