Valencia (VLC)

The city of Valencia, known as the city of the flowers, has beautiful parks and green wooded areas as the fantastic Botanical Garden, Parque del Oeste, the Jardines del Real (also known as Jardines de Viveros) and the Jardín del Turia ( behalf of the River), an enormous extension of 6.5 kilometers of vegetation. Most of the streets are landscaped as well, with trees on the edge of the sidewalks on either side. Thus, Valencia is half city and half oasis, the way imagined by its founders, the Romans, as a place of rest and recreation. Centuries later, the Muslims continued building a lot more gardens that beautify the city even more.
