Jerez (XRY)

Although it is true that Jerez society has been many times tied to the past, it also has invested –several times- in modernity and progress. And it is not a bad business to mix the traditional with the new, as long you choose the best of each one. The city of Jerez is currently faced with this problem: the city is not just offering good wine cellars, excellent flamenco or great horses, though all these things are very important; it also has a wonderful heritage largely unknown, with a valuable craft and an excellent cuisine, the best of the best.

Buses

The Airport is connected to Jerez by bus (lines M-050, F-051, F-052 and M-561) through the Company Consorcio de Autobuses Bahía de Cádiz. The buses start their journey at Jerez Airport and go either to Jerez city or Cadiz and El Puerto de Santa Maria. The first bus leaves the Airport at 6:30 am and the last one at 10.30 pm. You can travel to the city of Jerez for about 12-15 euros, and to Cadiz for about 50-55 euros.

Taxis
You can take a taxi to travel from Jerez Airport to Jerez downtown. They may charge between 12 and 15 euros (depending on traffic lights) and to the city of Cadiz about 50, depending on the quantity of packages you carry, the different schedules and final destination.
Cost from Airport to the city of Jerez: 12.10 € plus 0.42 € per bag or package, to Algeciras, € 145.92, to Cadiz, 48 €, to Puerto de Santa María, 25.92 €. The public taxi stop is immediately leaving the terminal station.
